700R4 needs some help...

I read about some stuff, either here, or on some other forums, that would help out a high mileage transmission that was starting to slip. Does anyone know what it is called? I remember one guy saying that he thought his 700R4 was a goner it was slipping so badly, and he put this stuff in, and it completely fixed the problem for a long time.

Mine has about 150,000 on it now, and it is starting to slip on me. I need it to last just a little bit longer until I am ready to put the T56 in. So if anyone knows the name of this stuff, let me know!

Thanks!

If there's such a thing then we don't need trans rebuilder. The fix is to rebuild it. Adding some miracle fluid is just masking the problem. Just find a decent used one that has less than 60k miles.

Nah, I am just 1 or 2 months away from being able to put the T56 in. If I could get anything that could help it last even just a little longer, it would be worth it to me at this point.

I will check out that Lucas Transmission Fix. Thanks for the link!

Also another product called "Trans-X" that I have heard good reviews on, comes in a bottle that looks alot like Red Line 2-stroke premix.

that's an expensive stuff. 17.99 a qt. but synthetic so it's got to be good. I use that stuff on my FORD's rear axle.

Camaero,
let us know which one you're going to used and the outcome. Might used it on the DD cars before they start to slip though.
