first post on the nor cal board
Hello
My Name is Terry. I live in Red bluff Ca. I have a 87 Z28 that the body is beat on, Soon as I get a few problems sorted out every thing will go in to a straight 87 RS (no engine & needs paint) I just picked up. I'm also working on 12" brakes for all for corners. few other mods slated for it, Too.

Re: first post on the nor cal board
I'll get some pict posted soon. I hope I don't have any problem getting a RS V6 car smoged with a LB9 in it . any suggestion? will I have to take it to a smog ref the first time? The Z28 car is beat. Back part of the car is pushed over about 1/2 " just behind the tires.

Re: first post on the nor cal board
no, the LB9 was on option in 87 so it would be considered a replacment. I had a 86 Iroc that was a stolen recovery, had a V6 vin with an LB9 never had any problems smoging it. on most of my VIR's they list it as a 350.
