New look
I decided I want to get rid of my Centerlines and do a flat black center/polished lip combo. I want a spoke look and am thinking of these from Yearone, or something like it. I think they look modern enough for me car and would look sick. I want more of a lip in the front though so I will look into that. What do you think?

I was never a big fan of the centerlines, so those look good to me.
Can never keep up with your changes Steve, I know you're not moving, but I thought you were selling your car and now I see you picked up Rons to wh0re out, lol.

Re: New look
I told you, this car has been cursed since jump street. We decided to pass on the house by us, the money that I was using for the car was going to go for some new appliances, inspections, tv, etc. Since we decided to pass on it and look for awhile longer, we decided to finish the car now while I have the chance. I bought Rons for the tranny stuff and to make some money back. I'm picking up the Centerforce clutch, ARP bellhousing and flywheel bolts, es mount, and ordering my Pro 5.0 shifter on Friday. This car IS getting done now. I am sick of going back and forth and seeing it sit. It should be firing up again in the next few weeks.

Re: New look
dude, the only way to really make your car look as cool as that 2ndGen is to buy 2ndGen! My current Pontiac is the red one, but the others ones were a 73 & a 77. That YearOne T/A is th sh*t. BTW...I thought your Formula was up for sale???

Re: New look
I like spoked wheels too. You've seen my car with the Fikses, right? Its pretty rough in person, so I need to work on that, but to me the stance and wheel size looks pretty good. Deep dish wheels look great on 3rdgens.
I'd be looking at CCW wheels too...

YEARONE SELLS THOUGHS WHEELS?
WHAT SIZE ARE THEY. THOSE ARE SICK!!
FUNNY HOW MUCH THE 77'-78' T/A'S COST NOW. UNDER 250 H.P./MORE LIKE 180 H.P. I HAD A 77' FORMULA, I REALLY DUG IT, IT WAS TOTALED WHEN A GUY HIT ME IN THE DRIVER'S DOOR AND I FLINCHED RIGHT AT IMPACT AND STEERED HARD TO THE RIGHT AND WENT OFF THE ROAD ON THE RIGHT AND HIT A TREE. THE DENT IN THE DOOR WAS SMALL LIKE A VOLLEYBALL, THE WHOLE RT. SIDE WAS A TOTAL..

Re: New look
Yes, yearone makes and sells them. They range from around 650 each to 1,000 each though. I'll look for something similar, like Hawaiian's z28. I would love those honeycombs but for that price, I'll wait.
I had a teal 79 as my 1st car and I loved it. Only had a 403 but still. There is a 78 around the corner from me for sale and I went to look at it but he wants $4,000 for it primered.
