BBC for sale!!!
I have basically a short block 454 I would like to sell. I got it from an early 80's motorhome, and it only has about 30,000 miles on it. The crosshatch pattern is still visible on the cylinder walls. I pulled the pistons and rods out to check wear, but the crank is still in and spins amazingly freely. The only things missing are the cam (the factory cam was ground flat by messed up heads), and an oil pump. You could slap this back together, dress it up and drive it! I was going to build a bracket racer, but changed my project goal. The core on this block alone is $250, I am only asking $200 for the entire package. All you got to do is come get it.

As far as I know yes. Everything I see in the parts catalogs covers all of the popular BBCs. I haven't built many myself for performance, and the ones I have built were mostly mild 454s with off the shelf parts like Edelbrock Performer stuff. They sure run sweet though.

I have been using that phrase for years and no one has EVER figured it out before, or at least let on that they did. Very kool.

That is exactly where I got it from. That trillogy has been one of my favorites since I was a little kid.

That's funny.
You didn't have to guess where my OUTATIME name comes from then.
How old are you? I'm obviously raised in the 80's!

Yup got your name reference as soon as you pegged my phrase, kind of wondered for a while before I started posting on this site. I am 28, Born July 16 1980.By the way, for those interested in the BBC, I can arrange a meet half way in Reno Nv. I will be there this weekend, probably monday sometime.

Re: BBC for sale!!!
depends on where you are. Columbus Ohio? probably just as much as the engine itself, plus I have no shipping materials. If you are in California then it would be cheaper to drive.
