Need a Transmission!

I am going to be needing a tranny soon. My formula is slipping into 3rd gear and it is getting annoying. I am looking for a perfect working tranny. I am not looking to spend a ton.

700r4 or WCT5 (with everything).

Re: Need a Transmission!

91 WC right here in NC, PM valencia1z

If it is out of a '91 V8 it should be WC.

If you can afford some downtime get your slushbox rebuilt with a nice kit!

Re: Need a Transmission!

I know a guy that will rebuild it for you for 200. All you have to do is bring it to him. He does AMAZING work. All you have to do is buy the parts. I took my LS1 A4 to him. He works for Chevy

I'm not sure what that means.

What is your budget? If you only have a few hundred, you dont have alot of choices.

Re: Need a Transmission!

aww dude, if i would have known, you could have taken mine for 50 bucks. ran just fine but i was pulling the motor and tranny complete from the chico you pull it and they wanted a 35 dollar fee for that **** and i'm a broke mother****er so they got to keep it. it should still be there somewhere haha. parting out my 305 right now for extra cash for my swap right now.

Re: Need a Transmission!

Hey Bully, it might be a little out of your price range, but I was just noticing a guy in the south west forums selling an all inclusive T5 swap package for about $500. I think he was in Pheonix so the drive or shipping might be a little much, but it would be worth a look.
