I am about to do the same thing to my formula tail lights... I think it looks great! And where did you get the license plate cover and does it do anything other than cover the plate? I know some don't let cameras take pics of them.

I bought it where I work.. -Kragen.Just a thin black frame with black bolt head covers and the only tinted cover they sell. It just matches the black portion of the taillights so well now. - nothing but compliments in person.

i got a ticket from chp for having a clear license plate cover on my car,the officer said nothing can be over the plate clear or tinted.

just like no front license plate, its a chance I take.

I had Blacked out tail lights, No front plate, and didn't get hassled when I got pulled over. They didn't even mention them. They used to follow me too, and I didn't get pulled over for them... I mean they were BLACKED out...
