so 3rdBird how did the trans brake work out?
im thinkin to put 1 in the el co when i do the big block swap, it would be on a glide. or ill just drop a M22 i got sittin around sittin around.

Honestly, I have no idea where you would find a supplier for a 700r4 trans brake, these valve bodies are usually reserved for the th350/th400/powerglide transmissions.
If someone out there makes it, its going to be a hole in the wall place.

I had fun at the meet, sorry I could not stay for long / run my **** because I have been working nights and it has been 7 12's...
You all know I will be there for a mandatory appearance though, sleep or no sleep, nice to see a few new cars and faces. Many thanks to Marc and Joey for hosting and the food!
I happen to think your hot rod is rather awesome there, J
P.S. Where are the rest of the freakin' pics???

Finally Firebirds out-numbered the Camaros. Very good turnout, thanks to the Bay area guys that made the trek.
As far as adding a transbrake to any transmission.. Its more designed for a drag race application. If you want to see what its like to have a transbrake,
Put your trans in NEUTRAL, rev it up to about 4500 rpms and pull it into drive.
If you dont break something the first or second time you do that..
your car can survive anything.

ya i think ill get 1 for the el camino. its goin to have a stroked and bored 427 bbc that puts it at 496ci. and with the trans brake ill be more consistent on launches. or i can build up the M22? or will the built glide be stronger?
ne how it will wait till the TA got paint and upholstery done. so i got time to plan that project.
