Mechanical Help

I have a 89 Iroc 5.7 I took it to many shops no one can figure out the problem I have with my car. When I turn my car on it cuts off I have to rev it to keep it on. No check engine light either. Anyone knows of a mechanic thats knowledgeable about these Third Gens i. The EastBay any information thanks.

Re: Mechanical Help

Update on my car after looking over my car this weekend I find a busted vacuum line and also a broken spark plug wire I'm glad I didn't just start dumping money in the car in other areas. So I went ahead replaced the wires, cap and rotor and coil all MSD. The car is running so smooth and putting out the power I expect back to the smog shop next day off.

Re: Mechanical Help

the funny part is that so many mechanics looked at it and were unable to fix it. Congrats on fixing it.

Re: Mechanical Help

we know Antoine. We are talking about the poster's 1st post when he said he took it to many shops and no one could figure it out.

one of two reasons either they really couldnt figure it out

or they didnt even try to and charged him for looking at it, or maybe they didnt charge and didnt look at it but that is not productive to make money.
