I found a Yellow 1988 IROC Convertable just now that's for sale. I thought yellow was a 1987 only color.

I want to be prepared before driving a long way to go see it. Thanks! Nitro-Nicky

 

quick search and looks like Yellow was available 85-88.

1985
- WA8740 yellow or yellow gold(firebird)
- WA8525 light yellow

1986-1988
- WA8929 yellow or yellow gold(Firebird)

 

My quick search came up with NO Convertables made in '88. Thus, this is my problem. I'm not seeing any color change from the close up photo's he's sent me and of course EVERYBODY ALWAYS swears on my fat mama that their car has never been in an accident........ so (he scratches his head before heading back off to work....)

Anyone else have any info????

 

So you saying no yellow verts where made? Because it shows 3,761 Z28 & Iroc-Z verts where made in 1988

Thanks! That's Exactly some of the info I needed! When I pulled up my initial SEARCH, I didn't get that one; just some copies of people's 'chats' on the basic info on the yellow IROC's. Allegedly GM dropped Yellow from the list after 1987, and this was to include the companies that did the convertable conversions.- I really appreciate it! Nitro
