last thursday me and kerry ended our relationship, shes been under aton of stress and my stress of trying to get teh car done didnt help, well saint pattys day her and her friend went to a party at her friends uncles and they both got wasted, then drove to the rink i work pt at to go skating, everyones telling me how ****faced they were, so i kinda gave her a chewing about drinking and driving, but kind aconsidered it a warning, i have absolutely no tolerance for that after seeing my best friends life taken right infront of me by a dui, so then she tells me they went to the avs game like last wednesday, her and her friend are die hard avalanche fans so she calls me thurs and is telling me how they got wasted and went to the game, tehn drank more, along with earlier they were driving around with a mug of vodka and 7-up, i went off i chewed her *** for a good hour on teh phone, had her in tears and hung up, went adn worked on the car, she calls and goes are you gonna be home 5 mins is all i ask, so she came over and i kept working on the car, she goes i'm glad your concerned but i'm not like this yada yada, i said you told me you wouldnt do it again, i had to change my entire life after what happened to my friend, i had to leave the damn state for christ sakes to get away from the life i had gotten into of drinking, racing and partying, adn i've been clean since i came back, i sadi its not a concern i'm saying i wont be associated with people who do that, so she goes to her car gets a bag of stuff of mine, takes her stuff and leaves, she goes the choice is yours i dont wanna just walk away from it, i think we have great times together but its in your court, and i told her i think we needed to be apart and if it was meant to be we would end up together again.....too mcuh drama, we were constantyl going at it about one thing or another and i had had enough, the last few months saying i love you was getting harder to do and i knew it was coming........

I have to chime in on this one being none to happy myself in my relationship. I think that having a woman (wife) holds you back....ALOT!!!! Everytime you think you have money to go and spend on your car, she throws a big monkey wrench about a forgotten bill or something is due conveiniently(sp) just as you get paid That happens alot to me.... Hmmm the song Goldigger comes to mind about now There are some women in this world that are not happy unless they have YOUR money in their hand (my wife comes to mind) they either hold you back in some way from getting your car done, or something else you need to do or want to do. Hey Paul you might have a roomie one of these days I'm kinda bitter on women right now, and I really can't express how I really feel on here, so if you want to know just call me I'll give you an earfull. Its funny how sometimes you ask your girl or wife for money for lunch when your at work and she says she has none and you get home and there is a brand new dresser costing 130.00 sitting there waiting for you to put it together. Or you need a part for your car and she says "we have no money" and all of the sudden she has a nice haircut or her nails just happen to be done BEEN THERE DONE THAT Paul stay single trust me its not worth the pain.

My ex girlfriend was really nice to me. She was not demanding, she never asked for money. However, her grandmother was a bitch. She would put her nose in everything, so I had to brake it off. That bitch would come over to my houst at midnight looking for her 20yr. old grand daughter. THat was it.
Now, I am weary about spending too much. I look towards fixing my car more, than to spend money on a person who lies to me.

 

thats one way to look at it. i can't remember a girl who just asked me to buy her stuff ever. My point of view is that it would be cool if a girl had some interest in firebirds/camaros rather than not at all because i do like to talk about those kinds of cars. I guess a girl who owns and works on firebirds/camaros would be an extreme.

Like Russ said. Think about any girl that you were with. If you ever wanted to go out, and she said I don't have any money... Chances are you paid for it. Than the next day here she is buying stuff from Walmart, or jewlery, or whatever she likes. Wont you feel a bit cheated??? Most of the time I have no problem taking a girl out, but if they do this all the time, it aint cool.
I, myself, actually keep track of how many times my girl would do this and than really insist on her paying to kind of even it out. Fortunatelly my current girlfriend is really good. Yea she would go buy some stuff for here after she tells me she didn't have money, but it would either be a book, or something little at walmart. She takes me out quite a bit, and she does pay quite a bit. So, I am not complaining, but if her trend of buying stuff increases... Hasta La Vista Baby. Not cool!

It would be very cool to have a girlfriend who likes Camaros and Firebirds. However, I would be kinda mad to let her drive it. Its a proven fact that females tend to care less about cars (Redraif a big exception, love her car). So, unless she is the 10% who care about cars (RARE) I would have to skip on it.

Yeah, there is no way any girl can ever try to get between my can and I. Two days ago my girl tried telling me stuff about my car... Long story short, she was calling me back appologizing! I gave her another chance, but it will never be the same again! Seeing my Dad and how my Step mom treats him, I can say that bit..es like that need go to hell. They are such controll freaks, have boring lives thus making it hard for anyone else to enjoy life. They can suck my ..ck. That **** wont let me work on my car, and wont let me have anyone help me in the driveway. A control freak, and everyone else tells me to just be nice to her, and still do my thing. Well, I aint gonna live like that. I tell that bitch what I think of her as many times as possible.
My car is the only thing that keeps me home. Its because of my love for third gens, that I sacrifice my freedom. I make money and I fix them, than I go away as much as possible. I always work on my car when she is not at home, and as long as there is no fluid that I am messing with she doesn't get pissed.
My dad is long gone, and she is using him bad. I keep telling him this, and he is getting angry. Silent angry, so soon I expect him to explode.
I tolerate my girlfriend (how many girlfriends let their boyfriends go to strip clubs without a problem???), but she has no right to talk about how I spend my money. If you don't like it, go away! Simple.!!!
When you are married, its harder since the law favors women like no other. Its bullcrap, and something that would never be tolerated in my country.

I am also sick of all these women that are coming out against athletes claiming rape.
I've been to countless parties, and those bitches are just your low class plain all ***** that are trying to make a buck.

I will NEVERlet a woman come between me and my car. I now work at a 4 wheel drive store and I get flack about driving a camaro all of the time. But alot of the 4 wheel customers come in and ask....... "hey whos camaro is that out there, it's pretty nice"........ maybe there is hope for our rock crawling freinds I do plan on buying a Jeep Rubicon BUT I will not let it come between me and my camaro. my wife will go before the car does. yea well i have no budget, since uh yea rally sport, nuff said, i got nice clothes, plus come on no girl can say no to the almight NHRA jacket (if anyone needs a deal at napa let me know they cut me some wicked discounts when i go in with the jacket on no **** they do.....and besides i dont have any time to "prep" myself for her, i'll just roll up in the rs, i'm sure they'll all be looking outside when they hear me roll up

Oh by the way, this was my "old school" idea of how to ask her out...find a reason to go in, talk to her, give her a compliment on how nice her smile is, then tell her right before you leave that you have a surprise for her. Let her know it will be there for her before she leaves for the day.....Then after maybe an hour or more have flowers (small bouquet/NO RED ROSES!!!!) delivered to her & in the enveloped message; ask her to dinner or whatever.Leave your cell # & entire name, write P.S. please tell me your top 3 favorite foods...Italian, mexican, seafood, etc. (That way you find out exactly what she likes and you have an idea of where to take her for at least the next 3 dates.......???????) that being said, im a chick. i know my place, and its usually third or forth and im just peachy fuzzy keen with it. my boyfriend is a Trans Am guy but currently has a very sexy Grand Am. i helped buy his new Borla exhaust because he deserved it. hell, he bought me my camaro for christmas (ebay is a wonderful thing). we have the same hierarchy when it comes to our priorities and it helps our relationship very much considering we love the same things and arent greedy people(though i could stand to get a little more.. "time in bed" if ya know what i mean). if he needs a new set of tail lights, ill surprise him, and maybe he'll get me some fabric and decals for my interior. we take turns with paying for dinners, with me paying more often because hes currently between jobs. but thats all fine. if i want to go out, i expect, right now, to have to pay for everything. it just makes sense.

our friends think we care about our cars way too much. were always washing or polishing or just fixing stuff. (more so me because my cars older).were very protective of them. we want to keep airsoft guns with us and shoot at the birds that crap on our cars.. and dont even get me started about the a-hole that scratched up the side of my car because he didnt know how to park. i come from a long line of car enthusiests.. my uncle has 3 1955 chevys and a 30's hot rod.. hes gonna help me re paint my car.

I've been with my girl for 6 years, the 'maro for 4...and it had to sit for 2 while i got it running (barely). It seemed like everytime I'd need to get a part, "oh, such and such needs to be paid, I forgot." But everytime HER car needed a new part, it was #1 effin priority. I took over the finances COMPLETELY three weeks ago...and now I've got the new oil pan, timing chain cover, and tranny pan on their way. Without missing a single damned bill.
