Just moved to Boulder County a couple weeks ago, and brought my recently purchased Camaro with me. She needs some parts, mostly interior, and I'm having a hard time finding any junk yards with any third gens, let alone ones with decent interiors.

I seen good places to buy online, but I'd prefer to go to a yard and find pieces if I can.

Anyone know of any yards in my area?

There is a pick & pull on Federal north of I-76, but they don't have much if anything for f-bodies. Most of the rest won't let you go in their yard - ask what you're looking for, they'll tell you what they have and go get it for you.

Fair Auto in Englewood thinks it caters to the f-body crowd, but after my initial contact with them, I decided I didn't need their attitude.

I agree with James, use the TGO classifieds. There are also Board advertisers & sponsors. You're much more likely to end up satisfied with those resources than trying local yards.

I saw one thirdgen about a month ago at the upull and pay near i25 and 36. At that point the majority of the interior was there. Also in greely there is a huge yard that may have some. I believe its called a and s or something similar.

Thanks for the tips. Erie auto salvage has at least on thirdgen im gonna go look at.

I go to Martins supplie in Windsor it has atleast 8 third gens in there.

Hey I know these aren't in nothern Colorado but are defenitley worth the trip.The metal movers yards Are preety good(in my opinion the best,I've ran into a cervinis hood worth 850 for 50 dollars,a nice interior, and the employes are great with a good attitude) and I just bought a complete interior from them at a dam good price.the u pull and pays are preety good and I have ran into good parts.the u pull and save near Peoria and smith has decent parts but I try not to go there since the employs are a-holes.Colorado auto parts on Radcliff road usually has 1 or 2 third gens (ran into a 33k mile firebird there with a mint interiorDash was cracked due to a crash in the fender that cracked the windshield and put stress on it,ran into one of this god awful glass hoods,a batmobile third gen with a good dash Which I passed on because I hadent picked up the iroc yet)Just thought I'd help another thirdgen Colorado owner out there with my best junkyard locations.

Theres also Camaros' Plus in Arvada like I-70 and ward area. They have good availability and seem knowledgeable. Other then that, there few and far between. Good luck.

I have recently cut back on my Camaro "fleet' ,from 3 runners and 4 parts cars to 1 Runner ( 83 Z28 "Crossfire",T-Top...of course!). I have Lots and lots and lots of 3rd gen parts and the wife would be especially happy if they found new homes! Have a NICE set of wheels ( Boyd's) with good tires! Not lookin to send any kids to Harvard...but, ya ain't gonna be "stealin" the stuff either! I'm sure that we can come to a nice FAIR figure in the "middle of the road" Contact Rich at; 720-982-6035
