Your not serious about running on the speedway are you? How much would something like that cost? Is it extra over the $25 registration fee?
My *** I want to run on the track! I'm THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sadly, I have to be back at work sunday morning. Then again, I might just blow it off for a chance to drive my car on the track.
Is there a website, or phone# I can call for more information?

i dunno i just searched google for cruise nights in indiana and a site came up that had that information........im probably not going to run on the track cuz im pretty sure they only let you do like 45mph but it does seem like it should have a good turnout...........

Any more info on this? Specially concering a lap on the track. Is there an extra fee over the $25 for that? Is there a speed limit? If indy cars can lap the track at 200mph in the turns then I don't think that 100mph is out of the question in the turns.

I wish you had provided a link to the flyer, I thought this was later in the afternoon.
But I can't miss work. I was just out of work for 3 weeks and I'm still recovering. Hell, I started charging gas and food to my credit card JUST to make sure I didn't go underbalance in my bank account.
Latest I could get of work would be 3:30, so its not worth the hike if it will all be over at 4:00.

What doing burnouts at 20mph? Hahaha, that sucks.
I mean, c'mon. Why not 50 or 60 mph? Or maybe even 100mph? At 20mph it would take 7 1/2 minutes to cover ONE lap. Thats boring. At 100mph it would take 1:30.00 for a lap.

its actually kinda funny...in the flyer they gave us it said something .....we will be going around the track at approxamately 80 to 90 mph....and it had that striked out and then said 20-30 mph next to it LOL
but c'mon did you actually think they were gonna put all those cars on the track and let them do whatever they wanted.......heck half the people would have been afraid to go out there cuz they wouldnt want there car messed up from another crazy driver.....
