i got pulled over about 20 miles south of st.john on 41

cop said i was doing 66 but my speedo was a needle off of 60 so i think he was just checking for a seatbelt

just to make sure im gonna have someone drive along side of me tomorrow and see what their speedo says when mine says "60"

i just got a warning so i was glad for that though

Nope, but when Kevin, Jeff, and I were on the way home, a cop was on my *** for a couple miles.

 

I never saw one cop on my way home..

timing wise...yes it seems a lot more sound thanks a bunch man! you and mike both!


tranny wise.....well something is definately wrong cuz when i used to drop it down into D it would kick in gear really hard....well now it feels like a have a high stall converter until i drop it all the way down into 1st...then it will ease into gear when i give it some gas like its a stick and i am slowly letting off the clutch.....but after that it shifts deacent and doesnt really seem to slip as long as i manually hold it in gear when i get on it


and also when we got to miami subs my fuse for my parking lights blew twice so im gonna have to try to track down that problem

 

Sounds like your trans is on its way out! I hate electical problems. I haven't had working gages in my car in 3 months because i keep bowing fuses.

just to let ya guys know...the cop was not lying to me...my speedo is off by 5 or so cuz i asked my friend that drove up with me how fast his speedo said when we went up and he said 65ish...and mine was right around 60 :lala: oh well atleast i didnt get a ticket :rockon:

 

funny thing you mention about cops..
going home from the party...they're were quite a few of them on 80/90...
anywho
yesterday went to the memorial day party in Elmhurst and had to drop my brother off for the parade, since he's in a band for school.
As I approach a blocked off intersection on the road i went across and started talking to an officer...
he's like "you can't come in here like that and then stop..that's a 75 dollar ticket!" and i'm like: "oh, well i'm just here to drop my bro off for the parade, and then i'm off to park my car"..
he's like "..any other cop would of gave you a ticket right on the spot"...and i told the officer i understood what he said the first time...so after that he's like "by the way, nice car"...

STUPID ELMHURST COPS!!!

oh yeah..and another incident happen when me and Tim was on our way home...from the show.
crossing the state line to IL. we noticed some dumbass driving wildly in a newer style mustang...had really loud exhaust...probably a mild engine in there...we see him go into a construction zone like nothing, passing everyone and enter's a driveway to park the car....I noticed he had a cop uniform on...
should of had my camera ready for that..to record that idiot doing that..ain't that a violation of some sort?!
unless they think they're high all mighty..and can do whatever they please...
it's what i call "abusing the law, abusing the law..dam dam!"
