man...i was wondering why you weren't on the boards anymore. sounds like things have been going ****ty for ya. i would imagine that this had to be someone you knew, cuz they sure took everything off that car that would be performance related. all this was stolen in your driveway too? that's just shady, i'm glad mine is locked up in the garage all the time, they'd have a field day on my camaro.

Sorry to hear man, let me know if you need anything.

Been workin' on the '79 T/A
The '87 is away for now but needs to come home and see the Dr. He needs a rear main seal(SUX). Unfortunately, all the plans for it for the winter have been put on hold in favor of getting the '79 further along.

the car was in a storeage unit i was forced to store it outside because the ploice where going to tow the car if i had it at my house the *******s at the storeage unit sold the last one on me as i was on the way over there.... the back window was busted out for about 2 weeks before i found it thats why there is so much water damnage done to it.. i'm pretty sure it was some who knew the car because they knew what was under the hood i have been staying away from the boards becuae everytime i think about it i get depressed all the money i saved up for the motor i have to put into the car to fix what is broke and now missing so i know i will not make it to denny's this year i'm not even sure if i will make it to the drag strip this year with my car... i know i will be there with the vega :-D i still think its funny seeing a vega wagon with 33's micky thompson drag slicks :-D

well i'm sure you could get a used hatch and a passenger window cheaply enough from someone. as for everything else, stereos don't make the car any faster and the vega has 33s now? nice. really nice.

That's going to be hard to find up here. You might have to bring one in from the south or southwest.

Didnt we just have a pot about hi-jacking threads?

This is a great example. I'm sorry about your car, but start a new post if you go from projects to getting broken into. Let alone which junkyard has who's wing and how much $$$$ for it.

START A NEW THREAD WHEN IT IS SOMETHING UNRELATED(u got a new thread)

thanks
Jeremy

yes, mine does have defrosters, perhaps you could call the junk yard and see if they'd trade one w/o defrosters for one with them. It seems like a good trade because defrosters are more in demand.

THE BEAUTY OF A CAR

The nice thing about cars is that they can always be fixed. Besides losing some money, you can pretty much put that car back together like it never happened. I just had my car broken into this summer and they swiped my stereo stuff. Do yourself a favor and try to get that thing back together so you can forget about this even happening. I went to Best Buy that afternoon and replaced the stereo they ripped out. It made me happy to fix it right away.

Good luck,
POZ

P.S. IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER MY FRIEND WAS IN THE CITY AND CAUGHT A GUY RED HANDED BREAKING INTO A CAR STEALING A STEREO SYSTEM. COPS CAME AND HE WENT TO JAIL. HAHAHAHA. ONE LESS CROOK!

If you don't mind the drive I have a hatch you can have and what ever glass you need. It has no defroster on it. It's on a 84 TA.
I can remove it for ya,no biggie. I'm in Southern IN. I could meet ya with it in Coloumbus,IN. It's about 30min. south of Indy.
