Dont know how far north many of you are coming but I live on the Northwest Side of Chicago and I know you may go around the city, but if you want to avoid tolls let me know, we can use my house as a pit stop and we can cruise thru downtown on the way down to Denny's, maybe stop for a photoshoot or 2....either way I live off of where 90 and 94 come together, shoot me a PM if anyone is interested in doing this
PLUS I know how to get to Denny's....so no getting lost here!!

there's a lot of less than show quality cars there to put it in a nice way, i've brought my car there one year with 5 different shades of black and charcoal and no one seemed to care. It's more about hanging out and getting to know local car guys than having show quality paint.

Sounds like I might be able to make it this year as well. 2 years ago when I went we met up in Oak Lawn and went from there. Does that sound like a good meeting point for anyone? We can meet at my dad's shop which is right on Southwest highway just a little south of 95th if you guys want. My car wont be pretty but it will be driveable. If you guys want to meet up there, let me know.

I was in state last year, but I was too busy to go and the car wasn't legal. My shop is right across the street from the Tinley Roller rink, its called Carey's Car Care. Stop by sometime and check it out. I just got a new addition to the family last night, a 91 Formula (I think, it doesnt say Formula but I think thats what it is). It has a locked up 305 TPI motor in it, so I am going to swap in a 350 hopefully before the fest. The body is in better shape then the IROC , it has t-tops, and its black, which is a prerequiset for me to own it
If all goes right, I will have both of my cars at the fest. If you guys want to meet up at either our shop in Oak Lawn or here in Tinley, let me know, I'm open to either one.

ive been trying to find a bad vacume hose with the carb cleaner but ive had no luck, also ive been checking for clogged tubes but nothing there either, havnt checked the pressure regulator though!ill have to check it out before i head out there to save some gas! if not i know theres gunna be some one out there thats gunna look at my car and know the problem and im gunna feel stupid lol.
im gunna pay for my registration on friday (19th) hopfully i got my car backtogeather in time to take it! ive got the hatch off the trunk pan taken apart and primered and ready for paint on saturday so it should be all togeather by the 26th and i need to completely detail my car, its pretty dirty outside and in!
