Time For Some Ideas Gang

hey everybody,
well, we have officially begun the planning for the 2002 edition of the east coast nats. what i need from you guys is a couple of ideas about classes for racing and car show. also i need to know how many people would be interested in participating if i can get an SCCA style autocross.
right now we are thinking along the lines of drag racing:
1. true radial bracket class
2. drag radial bracket class
3. heads up racing
?. we are considering having a "torque arm" bracket for people running stock style 3rd and 4th gen suspensions. dependant upon interest
?. we are considering having a heads up "torque arm" class for people running stock style 3rd and 4th gen suspensions. this is dependant upon interest.
autocross:
SCCA class guidlines(sort of) for F-Stock, E-Street Prepared, Street Modified, And C-Prepared.
car show:
1. the return of the classic and late model divisions as we had this year, but with each class additionally split between stock and modified vehicles.

all of these things are also dependant upon us getting enough sponsors for it all. i don't wanna have a class just to have a class with out having anything cool to give out to the winners, and you can ask anyone that was there this year how much cool stuff we gave away.
also, i do not want to have a drag racing catagory that there will be less than 8 cars participating. i feel that is the minimum needed to run a proper ladder for eliminations.

does all of this make sense to you guys or am i way off base? is there anything else that you would all like to see? can anyone suggest any companies that might be interested in getting involved or that they think would be perfect for a particular class?

thanks for your input and continued support, we are growing fast adn it is thanks to the enthusiasts that coem out and play with their cars.
thanks

later
tim

I think the the separation of stock and modified in the car show is a great idea, I would also like to see the thirdgens in their own class, separate from 4ths. Just my two cents. Any way, 2001 was great, cant wait for 2002!!!

the big thing to remeber about car shows is that most co's are more anxious to give prizes to the racing crowd. if we can get enough prizes i woudl be glad to give every generation their own class, i think they all deserve it.
iwill see what i can do about getting more car show related vendrs in too.

thanks

i would like to see an semi mod stock class an a super mod class with cars that have complete engine overhauls (blowers, nos, turbo, etc.) a nos class would also be kind of creative.
