I know how you guys feel.
Unfortunatly I probably wont be able to come to the Nats this year. The way things are looking right now my National Guard unit will be getting activated sometime in January. Still just speculation and reading into rumors and all but all the signs point to us going, and soon.
So someone better take lots a pictures, video and anything else I can get my hands on to see how it was.
Kevin
P.S. Im still going to keep in touch around here just in case I am able to make it this year.

no idea as to where, or when. But it pretty much seems deffinate that something is gonna happen in the next week or so for my unit.

Matt,
Its actualy 63H10, not sure why its listed as 10 when its 30 level, but thats how it is?? I also hold 63D H8, man them were the days, cruzin around in my M88, drivin over or through anything that got in the way, lol. Like I said to I do alot of cross training, especialy on wheeled stuff, I might try and go to the school so I can actualy have that 63W on my records.
And yes the rumor mill sucks, makes ya think to much. Well if any of you make it over there look for SPC Standlee.

Ooooohhhh... 30 level of maintenance. Roger that. I thought you meant 30 level of MOS specialty (meaning E6). I'm also 30 level in a DS Maint Co. myself but we don't see many (any) tracks these days. You track guys have all the fun in the 88s..... The HEMMT wrecker is kind of fun, but it can be a POS at times.... And it REALLY sucks on the hard pack (are those shocks just on there for looks, or what?).

but I think I rather have gone and done the lap.
the guy wanted a military wedding, uniforms, saber arch etc.... so he was really hard up on finding people to do it that were off. he had a full wedding party plus the 8 guys with the big knives.
so I don't think he would have liked it if I said hey I don't want to be in your wedding just to go ride my bike (even though he is into NASCAR, and knows what it means to do a lap)
it's ok I still got a infeild pass for the fall race last year...and that was great, got wet when the #15 hit the water barrels!!!!!
