Track day for day 2 of Thirdgen Nationals?
This was a great idea in '03, just the track that was close was not so good.
I was thinking Cecil county raceway for day 2 of the 05 nats, as it is not too far from the Baltimore area that looks to be the site of the Thirdgen 05 nationals.
Input?

i have thought seriously about getting my car to a gathering this year. don't know if i'll have the funds, but let me say, i am very familiar with the tracks in that area, and if you can swing it, Cecil is by far the best. we (at the nsca) have never had any problems with traction, and it is rumored that Cecil is the fastest track east of the Mississippi. honsetly, i would agree with that statement!
i am just afraid that my car will get laughed at cause it's not in really good shape appearance wise. mechanically sound, and the interior is spotless, but the exterior needs some real help.

does anyone have any real information about the possibility of the Track day? with the way my car is setup, i would love to come up there, but the track day would be what would really make my trip worth while. if there is no info on the track day, i'm gonna back out. i have pretty much already said i am going to the Super Chevy Show in ATL. on the first weekend in June. i've got way too many powertrain things to deal with/upgrade that the appearance of the car will have to wait at least a few more months. so, it would be a waste, cause no one wants to see a mis-matched sportcoupe.
