looking for a good Pro street artice

If anyone knows where I can find a good article on the build up of an early 90's Trans-Am pro street please let me know.

Also are there any good 6 point cage designs out there for this car?

I'm trying to help my lil 15 year old brother with a build up like this. He will be driving by october and I would like to get a quick start on this project.
Thanks CC

"Pro street" means doing a complete back half of the car to stuff huge tires under it. Check with a local chassis shop first. It's not really a job for a first time builder.

There are a lot of 6 or 8 point roll bars available for third gens. In kit form, they're cheap. To buy it and have it unstalled, expect to pay $100-$150 per point.

Thanks for the reply.
It's been a while but I have built 3 Pro Streets in the past. The only problem is that they were all first gen Firebirds. I've never played with any 3rd gen. at all. So basicly I'm just looking for some pointers on these cars. Like what to watch out for, problems, and sugestions on P/S one of these cars. I dont want any suprises along the way. I am just trying to do my homework before starting on this project.

Thanks CC

I did mine myself out of 2x2 square tubing about 12 years ago. It took almost a year, and I had some screw ups but it has already gone 8.18 with 7s on the way this season. Ed quay and S&W racecars have good quality kits. Try the link below also - tons of pictures of the car during the process
