406ci Race engine (non 3rd gen)

First off I want to say that I know this is thirdgen.org but I don't know where else to ask this question and get as good of a answer. Now with that out of the way...
The engine is for a Jr. Fuel class (heads up race, low 7 sec.) The engine needs to make between 800-950hp or as much as possible. It will be run on injected methynol. The ci limit is 410ci (I believe, not quite shure). And keep in mind this needs to be fairly cheap. Forged internals are a must of course, but no one-off parts please.
Now for the rules.
The block and heads MUST be cast iron and I will be using a production block not an aftermarket block.
There is no compression limit, the meth should be fine, but special maching is not favored.
There is absolutely NO forced induction or nitrous or electronics. No tunnel rams either.
Other than the above limits, almost anything goes.
I am looking for quality parts that won't cost an arm and a leg but will last. I need advice on cam, heads (I was thinking of Dart Iron Eagle heads, CNC ported), ratating assembly, valve train. Lightweight parts are better as long as they will last.
The car is going to be a 1,650lb front engine dragster. The car has an air shifted, race built powerglide tranny, olds rearend with 4.10 gears.
I know this isn't the best place for this but I believe you guys can help me out. If anyone knows a better place or person to ask this question, feel free to post. Thanks for all your help!!!

Sounds similar to a comp eliminator A/ND. Don't expect to be able to do it cheap. I'd love to run that class myself but it's cheaper for me to just run the car.

Go to your local track when there's a big NHRA race and track down Comp ELiminator racers. Ask them what it costs to build and run such a vehicle. We have a local racer that has a AA/AM Altered running low 6's with a blown 377. He changes valve springs at least 4 times a year so that can give you an idea on what it might cost to operate a similar vehicle.
