Back from track, need new posi

Car ran okay...at least the engine. now pulls through 6500 RPM. Now have a very weak posi unit. First the left slick spins then the right slick. You can feel it alternating all the way down the track.

Does any one have opinions on differing diffs? Eaton, Zexel Auburn?

SLP has take offs, could these handle a 305, stall converter and slicks? Current best time is 8.67 in 1/8 th mile w/201 60 ft time.

It should, before I got my Strange 12 bolt last winter I was running the original rear in my car. It had 4.56's with mini spool, ATI 8" conv w/ 5200 stall and ran mid 1.5's for 60' times. This is how it launched last year, I tamed it down a bunch last winter to get it more consistant.

I got the Zexel on sale for $79 and through it in with Moser
axles. 60ft went from 2.0x to the 1.79 I just pulled last
weekend. How it works out in the long term... ??

I've got a factory posi with over 120K on it, still performing great after 2 full seasons of abuse and 3 rear ends I can tell it's worn cause if the staging to water box is a tight turn I have to back up straight about 10' otherwise the wheels will spin intermittedly in the water. Gettin the Ford 9" this winter with Detroit Locker.
I used to have an Auburn unit in my old car and that worked as well as a posi is supposed to for 2 years.

Is it the locker type? Mine stopped pulling both wheels after a tight turn into bleach box area. Kept pulling intermittantly the rest of the run.

I've never had this factory unit apart, but I assume it's a clutch pack type.
