I have been working on a layout how my timeslip database is gonna work out

www.zerotactic.net

thats basics on how it will look. mainly will be used so everyone can submit their times and be able to compare with anyone else who uploads their details.

im just curious what u all think of it so far and would u consider using this once i am complete?

i have put in my information to show an example of how it will look

I think this is an excellent idea...every other car forum I go to has a timeslip section except for this one...

I will hopefully have it all ready sometime next week and when its done, you will have to register an account to upload your information, and then u will have a personal link to view just your information which would be helpful for signatures or whatever..

I'm definately for it. I've been hoping thirdgen would start a timeslip section, but this is just as good. I'm in.

It might cut down on the "what will I run" questions if they could just look at a database.

sounds good, but that 1/8 mile time already up doesnt really make sense for that 1/4.

That 1/8 mile time is a little fast for the mph, my car runs 7.30 @ 94 mph in the 1/8 mile, so a faster 6.58 will need a 100 mph in the 1/8 mile. A time of 9.58 is about right for that mph.

If you ran a 15.9 1/4 an equivelant 1/8 would be somewherer around 10 seconds, not anywhere near 6 seconds.

Would it be possible to put in there a list of all the person's mods when you click on their name?

ok well instead of making you hold on for it to be complete, i made a basic setup for now, where u just submit the form you fill out and after a validation, it will be posted within anywhere of 0-6 hours at most. so if you all could do me a favor and submit whatever timeslips you have, that would be great! i need to see how much this will be used. also any comments are greatly appreciated!

thats ok, we need cars in all categories and just to let you all know, i have updated it so now if anyone gets a better timeslip then can click their name and click the "Update your account" link.

and from what cars ive already seen posted, different gear ratios make a big difference.

Ya gotta change the background color on the registration page...it's hard to read black text on a black page.
