NHRA rules? fuel reg. mounted to firewall?

i see the NHRA rule book states any fuel dist. blocks must be mounted 6" forward of flywheel/bellhousing area. Im not so sure mounting a fuel press. reg. to the firewall fits within this rule. Does anyone have their fuel system setup like this and has any tech inspector said anything about it?

Like the rule says, must be mounted 6" forward of flywheel/bellhousing . Chances are if its mounted to the fire wall its not legal.

Agreed. That's why you usually see them mounted on the inner fender.

Must also have your fuel line encased in a 16" peice of steel tubing 1/8" wall thickness and securely fastened where it passes the flywheel area.
