Help me stick it!

Any third gen. auto crosser's have this problem? I ran an auto cross a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't keep the rear-end under me for nothing! The front end stuck like glue! I don't have a problem on the long tracks, just the short one's in the parking lots. This particular lot was seal coated asphalt (slick). So, I'm thinking weight distribution right? Maybe someone else has had this happen and found a solution that they could share with me before I embarrass myself any further!
Here's my set-up.

88 Pont. form, WS-6, New rotors w/cramic pads, 245-50-16's on factory alloy's, 700-R4, 3" cat back, open element TBI.

Wt. dis. : front 2120#
rear 1520#
ttl 3640#
Is there any thing such as, a heavier roll bar that could help this problem short of tossing sand bags in the trunk? I'm loosing points on the short track and falling fast!
All weights are w/me in the car. Thanks!

Have you lowered the car? What are your rear tire sizes? These two things can plant the rear end really good.

The 245 50 16's are on all 4 corners. I haven't lowerd the car at all. I thought the WS-6 package would do beter than it did but I guess the performance susp. is in the front end huh? I read in this mo. car craft mag. about the bad maners the open spool diff. has as far as cornering on tight auto cross tracks. Like I said before, I don't have a problem on the long tracks. I guess it's time to start checking the bone yards for a limited slip!!

limited slip and a little bit of gear would help a ton.
in the mean time i suggest trail braking teh car a lot. my old car had bad manors when philly region woudl go to the small courses at teh boeng facility, i woudl just drag the brake real hard as i started to turn in adn let teh rear fo teh car get light enough to rotate. it is not a great solution, more of a band aid on the bigger problem, ut i didn't lose as much ground that way.

later

what i want to know is how the heck you ended up back heavy in the thirdgen. that would play a major roll in the issue.

Cashiers check please what kind of tires are you running, our cars tend to push into the corners, but once you start the turn and get on the throttle, the back in is going to want to come around. i would suggest lowering rear tire pressure, and not so much throttle, until you straighten yourself out you also might try a little less rear roll bar, maybe step down from the 24mm, to like a 21mm.
