If you can get close to that horsepower and with the weight of your car you should be in the 12's with no problem. Remember you have to get that power to the ground. So you will need good drag tires and proper suspension mods.

I have a car that is around 3800 pounds race ready with me in it and with 354HP at the crank I have turned a 13.30 in the quarter. With the weight alone you would be 6 tenths quicker.

Something else you might want to think about is the B&M governor kit to adjust your shift points. Mine was shifting around the 5000 mark stock with the 700R4. See where your shift points are and adjust accordingly. Allen

Id hope so, Im right near that race weight with 272 rwhp (maybe 320 flywheel if that) and have gone high 12s on radials and mid 12s on slicks with no suspension mods. I would say you should theoretically be deep 12s with that power and weight so long as its geared right!

the car has 3.42's now, but will be changing accordingly after i run it and see what im rev'ed at the end of the 1/4... im thinking of a 4.10 with the 26" slick should allow a possible 115 trap speed...(redline is around 6500ish)

and the car's weight reductions is
deleted:
AC and heater off firewall
all AC pump, pulley, belts, condenser, hoses..
A.I.R. pump, bracket, belts,
power steering (for now.)
windsheild wiper resovoir, motor, and wipers,
radio, heater, carpet, door panels, back seat, all plastic trim except dash,
with plastic race seat.
and i weigh 135.

ok, so you have a stripped interior and only weight 30lbs. less than me! my goodness man, put that interior back in the car! it only makes the car less complete! just take the sound deadening material off! i weigh 256lbs, which is why my car seems heavier than yours, but in reality, it's just my big butt that wieghs more than your scrawny self!

13.5 @ 105 sounds to me like all top end and no launch.

My shoebox hit 12.9's at 102 at 3880 lbs. (de-tuned in an attempt to hit 13-flat) - never dyno'd, but estimate 400 GFWHP, 325 RWHP. Of course, 700 lbs lighter and better aerodynamics should help your MPH, but the lower weight should also help the launch.

For reference, it was hitting 103 mph 2 years earlier with vacuum secondaries, less stall, and open exhaust - but only 13.5's. Going to DP and more stall moved 60 fts from 2.05-ish to 1.75-ish - and took more than a half second off ET with no increase in power.

What a difference a launch makes...
