Sprayed the car... critique my timeslip

Just got back from the track... Finally got off my lazy *** and hooked up the nitrous. Cars the same as it was when it went 12.52 @ 108 but the weather was a bit hotter. Anyway, heres the timeslip with the 100HP jets, 30* of timing (waaay conservative), 900psi bottle, spraying right out of the hole. I shifted at about 5500-5800RPM.

60' = 1.690
330 = 4.914
1/8 = 7.595 @ 91.37mph
990 = 9.855
1/4 = 11.884 @ 115.07mph

The car hooked initially but it seemed right around the 60' mark it started swaying in the back. I couldnt really tell if it was spinning though... the car might of just gotten out of the groove or something. I'm not too disappointed in this run but I was hoping for a little better. I'm wondering if something seems off on this timeslip? The mph should be good for mid 11's, right?

All in all I guess I can finally say I have an almost full weight, completely stock suspensioned, 11 second street car

See thats what I'm not sure about either A friend of mine has run 11.90 @ 111mph and 11.70 @ 113mph but his 60ft is a bit better than mine.

I'm thinking/guessing 115mph should be good for an 11.50 or 11.60.

it is for the turbo Buick crowd. some of them actually hit mid 11s on 113 traps as well. its all in the 60ft

Here is a local timeslip database that will show a variance of mph for a mid 11.

I would say that if you are running 3.73 gears with those big tires that MPH sounds about right for your ET.

That mph seems pretty close. 91mph was pretty good for an 1/8th mile 7.50 pass. Cars vary on ET to MPH. My car went 11.06 in the 1/4, but at only 109mph because I ran out of gear and hit the highside chip @7,000 rpms and let up around 1,000 ft. lol.

Good run,
Ideal ET for that MPH is 11.75 so you are doing well.

60 seems a "little" low for spraying out of the hole, 28" seem a little tall for 3.73s in a revving 350. I run the same 3.73s/28" tire and its a little over geared for me, but 26's just won't hook for me.

I guess I cant complain about an almost 7 tenth improvement on just a 100 shot.

Tires are 27" tall and I have 3.92's. I'm not too sure why the 60 ft isnt that great - its barely better than on motor. I couldnt tell if the car was spinning because there was an open-header race car next to me screaming away... Although I do remember it not launching extremely hard but when I clicked into 2nd gear the car was accelerating at a rate I've never felt before and I said to myself "holy crap this cars flying" When I crossed the finish line a bunch of weird stuff started flying outta my dash board vents! dust, crud, leafs, lost nuts and bolts... It was an instant indicator of achieving a new best ET.

I think I oughta work on getting the car completely dialed in on motor before I spray it again then maybe my goals will be met. I've done no tuning whatsoever. I figure if i can get 12.20-12.30's on motor I shouldnt have trouble (other than traction) hitting mid 11's on just the 100 shot. Maybe an 11.0-11.1 on a 150 or 200 we'll see...
