I cant believe you dont already have a stall. From what I have seen on these boards thats just about one of the best mods for an L98 car.

i wan't to say the converter in it is from a vette but i'm not sure
it was explained to me only as a stock stall when i got it.
it is a 12 incher. what do vettes hit at? i hit around 2k of idle
but brake torqeing it only holds to like 1600 rpm before the tires wan't to break.

yeah i think vette stalls are 2000 rpms

sounds bout that from a 1600 brake hold

anyway , yeah a converter could help you hit 12.9x's lol

i cant believe how quick ur car is with those mods. makes me hopeful when i get HSR and a tune next summer

mph is definately good with aftermarket TPI. with slicks and absolutely perfect launch i can see a high 12. aftermarket TPI with 1.6 rockers and a good tune will see 103-104mph or so. thats good for 12.9's for sure

Yes, a higher stall and an aluminum ds will help as long as you have good traction. I don't think it will get you 12s though.
What I don't see that can help is skinnies, disconnected or loosened front sway bar, roller rocker arms, underdrive pullies, disconnected alternator, tires (?), anything to lighten the front end of the car a bit, try an exhaust cutout, ice the intake...and a throttle body air foil, lol...

spend some money on a tranny
3500 stall, tranny brake, reverse manual valve body and shifter of your choice. that should bring your times down. and makes the car alot more fun to drive
