not sure on compression i will have to figure that out
stock heads
stock 700r4 (scarry)
stock 2.73 open rearend (scarry)
comp cams xe 274 cam and lifter set .487/.490
holley 750
edlebrock rpm performer intake
any clue if this can get me into low 14s until i can afford some decent heads

will that cam even work on stock heads without binding up? that cam won't be happy without a stall and bigger gears just so you know.
it'll make for a really poor combination IMHO

Get decent tires, a converter and gears before putting that cam in a very mild, stock combination. You'll be much happier.

i'd do the tires, gearing, and converter/shift kit before you built up the motor. then move on to the motor.

no offense i see your opinion, but if like being louder and faster than the guy next to me at teh street light, gas milage makes no differnce to me, when the next bum in a civic races (although it was close b4) it will be nothing to run them down, i don't care about a 10 sec. timeslip cause i know it won;t happen
