what kind of time does the average car run with a 92-93mph trap?

yep i seen alot of high 14's with a 93mph trap speed.

lots of wrx's do mid 14s (14.4-14.6) at around 92-94mph since awd gets good 60 foots. so with slicks or drag radials and good converter/or stick shift, i can see a thirdgen going mid 14s with 93mph traps

Average for a decently setup and matched car is MPH * ET = 1350

1350 / 92 = 14.67
1350 / 93 = 14.51

Mid 14 as mentioned above. This is only a estimate that does not factor in traction, chassis setup and aerodynamics. It is a good starting point though.

Free program if you want to play around with the numbers.

hmmm...12.50*106.8=1335...what gives? based on the mph, it says my car oughtta be running 12.64, and based on ET it says i oughtta be trapping 108mph...does this mean it's got more in her on the top end or something? i know the car needs a bit more gear...

That's more a rule of thumb than an exact product. Here are some examples of my #s.

Best pass 2006: 11.979@113.41 = 1359
Best pass 2005: 11.999@113.91 = 1367
Best pass old combo = 14.69 @ 92.00 = 1351

Looking at my log book from this year:
12.19@110.71 = 1349
12.11@111.85 = 1354
12.09@113.30 = 1370

Yoru car 60 foots a little better than others running the same ET and as a result your # is lower. Stock and Super Stock cars will have much lower #s while guys running while traction limited (ie on street tires) will have much higher #s. Ideally you'd want to have the same product all of the time.

1320 - interesting concept.

Using best runs, the Camaro is 1378, the '57 1340. However, my last round in the last race I ran is a 1260! (I backed off in the traps because the other guy wasn't catching me.)
