That's a good deal. They will work at the track beyond when they are done on the street. Also, they don't have deep tread grooves to start with.

The only downside is that a 26" on a 16" rim will have less sidewall than on a 15" rim.

4th gen wheels will need spacers to fit on your 3rd gen as well, so you'd have to swap rims or buy spacers

depends on how many runs are on them. most of the time slicks and street legal slicks dont ever wear out the tread, the sidewalls usually "die"

i bought them they look pretty good my stock diameter is 26.0 i wonder how the new slicks (26.2) will effect my gearing since i only got 2.77.

man i think my 3.27 gears are bad, i can't imagine 2.77 for you, although I'm running a 28" tire, so I'm at a 3.0X range for gearing....so I feel your pain, you can almost run the quarter in 1st and 2nd I bet barely shifting into third.

true but at his power level, he wont need a whole lot of sidewall. i'm runnin those same tires on my car at about 16-17psi and hooking into the 1.7x 60's on my full exhaust only L98. good stuff! haha

i have those tires on my irocz wheels and they fit great. been running them with 3.27 gears and they hooked well enough to get 1.7x 60's. i cant wait to try them with the 3.42's. 2.77's i couldnt imagine on slicks, cuz the slicks really slows down my 3.27s. i never ran my 2.77's on slicks. street tire to street tire, i could feel alittle difference between the 2.77's and 3.27's so it could only be worse with 2.77s
