what autox class does a "built" motor put me in?

what autox class does a "built" motor put me in?
i really hate saying built but i'm too lazy to type everything out. it's very not stock. i know my subframe connectors bump me up to a class i probably wouldn't be competitive in, but i'm curious.

Cars with built motors usually run in a faster class than cars that only have a loose collection of unassembled parts under the hood.

with out digging out a SCCA rule book, If the engine is not stock it could put you in either of these classes SM(Street Modified) or CP("C" Prepared) Neither of wich you want to be in. Both are high dollar and are NOT for beginners.
