Stock 89 Formula Wheel/Tire
Guys,
I plan on using the stock formula wheels for drag racing. It is a 16X8 wheel. I would like to know the widest and tallest tire I can stuff under the rear without a hammer? I would like to run a Mickey Thompson ET street drag tire. I really do not want to modify anything right now. Anyone w/ pictures, input, or tire dimensions? Thanks.

Do a search for drag radials.Its been covered many times.They do make what you`re looking for.Try summit,jegs or google a name brand tire company that makes DR`S.

with a drag radial, i only believe they make up to a 255/50/16 for those rims
on a ET Street DOT slick, you can run a 26x11.50x16
