Video is getting old. This is a stock suspension Camaro with a 509" BBC, Conventional Brodix BB2 heads, PG transmission. F3 Procharger using a cog belt drive system pushing 26 PSI of boost blowing through a CSU Dominator carb.

Wish I had his kind of money. That F3 system is worth more than my entire engine. Wouldn't be surprised it that car is worth more than $100,000. Speed is a matter of money. How fast do you want to go?

Re: This is how you go
yeah, but you won't be getting anywhere close to a 191mph trap speed. shoot, if you go much faster than 115, you'll be doing good. that 191 is only 15mph off of a prostock car (which i saw were trapping in the 206 range last weekend)

wish i only had that much in my engine
unless you have serious connections, your going to have $20-30K minimum in a car to compete and win in a serious bracket competition unless the competition is retarded, but anymore your looking at a minimum of $40-50K to be a player even at our level.

Re: This is how you go
Nope, i will still be street driven with the 408. The 496 to come after that will be up in the 7500$ area with the engine alone. Not allot really compaired to others but it will be hard to find a car on the street to give me a run. I am looking to destroy supras and what not. Gonna be fun though.

Pft...Im in Houston, you have no idea what is out here, the cars in the area are sick but there isnt that many on the street every day that go 9s. There is the fact that there is somone allways faster, but running across another 9 second car is going to be rare.

Funny you mention Houston & 9 sec cars.. I'm sure you've heard of SAM right? (School of Automotive Machinists) They build some wild schit there. Check 'em out @ samracing.com They were also in Hot Rod of Car Craft recently in that LSX shootout comp...

Hell, this is the location of LMR. WHat else you wanna see other than ARD in the 9 second street IROC? That is awesome, but it goes 9s at over 4000lbs, that is simply sick. But it is not on 93 octane.

Re: This is how you go
if i finished my cage that would add another 80lbs or so roughly so that puts me at 3800lbs, with a small block...but these dart lil m blocks alonw weigh as much as a standard assembled complete shortblock. If that other guy is running 9's, it's safe to assume it's a pig block so there's some additional wieght, if it's an aftermarket block, it's alot more weight...kind of why some guys send their aftermarket blocks out to have them lightened up...but at $1500 i'll keep the extra weight, that's why i bracket race..cant afford to go fast LOL!!!
