Re: fitting

Almost 100% positive it is the 16mm to -6an. I know this because it takes the same fitting to adapt the fuel inlet into the back of the TBI unit to AN fittings.

Some models may take the 18mm fitting.

The fittings on the back of the injector pods on TBI units are 16mm inlet and 14mm outlet. My power steering took the same fitting as my inlet into the injector pod.

I will double check for sure this afternoon. I have a spare p/s pump and extra 14mm/16mm to -6an fittings. So, i will test fit them and will let you know by 5pm central time. OK?

Re: fitting

The steering box is 16mm and 18mm. The larger line should be from the pump. The smaller line is the return.

FCM2609 -06 M18 x 1.5

Re: fitting

Good luck!

It's always nice to see step-by-step photos and description if you have the time to do so. This would definitely help anyone in the future doing what you're doing.

Just an idea!

Re: fitting

I was wondering if an adapter was made that went from 5/8-18in inverted flare to 18mm x 1.5? Thanks

Re: fitting

I didnt think they did but was just wondering because I bought a new PS line and bought the new pump after and the new pump is 5/8 inverted flare and the factory line is the 18mmx1.5. I am going to just have to spend about 60 + bucks to make an AN line for it now lol thats building a car though everything is expensive and goes wrong lol

Re: fitting

I went by this thread and ended up ordering the wrong fittings. My steering box supply and return fittings are 11/16" and 16mm. The 11/16" line should have the Oring seal because that is the input that has a pressure sensative inlet, the other fitting is completely open. So frustrating to get the wrong parts mail ordered.
