Rear wheels in picture are 15x10 Weld Prostars with 6.5" backspace and 3/8" spacers behind them. Tires are 29x11x15 Hoosiers. Car now has 15x10 Prostars with 5.5" backspace with no spacers 29x12x15 hoosiers and it looks almost the same as the pic. I'll see if I have a newer pic to post.
Why white? In my case there's a few reasons. My car was black and rough, only straight panel was the new rt. frt. fender and I filled the antennae hole on it. I went white as it shows very little as far as dents or waves. As it turns out I could have gone with another color as the body came out pretty straight after I worked it all. There's a lot of block sanding in that car. White is also the cheapest paint and it works well with graphics or two toning.
Here's ours. Still has the ~85 305 with L98 heads. Not the fastest CP car out there but it finishes the event more than just about any other CP car in the field.
The current engine is a 355, ~10.1:1, SRP flat tops, Eagle H beams, Scat forged crank, Brodix Track 1's, Crane Hyd Roller, Vic. Jr., 750 Mighty Demon, Super Comp's. Trans is an ATI TH-400 w/ brake, ATI 8" 4500 stall converter. Moser 9"- 4.56's, spool, gun drilled axles; tubular suspension throughout, BMR Extreme ARB, Strange DA's, LCARB's, 10 pt cage, UMI weld in SFC's. I'm pretty happy with the way it runs, can't wait to get it to the track.
406 twin 72mm. Working on an air to air right now.
Wow. Looks great. Only issue might be trouble regulating boost with the wastegates on a single primary instead of running them off the collector. Do you have a build thread somewhere. Again. Awesome!!!
NICE...I LIKE THE COLOR its got some cage in it, whats the details? oh and welcome!
thanks. its got a 10 point cage, most of the interior except the back seat and passenger seat, and the lights just need wired in. It used to have a 582 bbc running 9's but i traded my junior dragster for it rolling. we're putting in a 383 stroker that should run 12 flat. I'm going to try to get it street legal so i can drive it to the track, race, and drive it home.
This is a shot of mine with 9/10 years of dust knocked off of it.
back in the mid 90's running 11.70s and 10.50's (with a small shot)
This shot is taken with the first seat upgrade. before the new Racaros (all red) did not even drive the car with this set of seats. i hate how things/upgrades snowball!!
this was the old 383. and how it looked back in 1993/1994.forgive the 9/10 years of dust from sitting. this has all been pulled out now. to make room for the new 427 sbc w/V1 T Trim
below. pic of things to come . after getting this 427sbc. GM told me they could now get me the 572 BBC with the RamJet on it..thanks guys. will see what i end up putting back in her...lol
looking forward to this spring and putting her back together. the last 2 years no time to work on it. just buyn parts..always time to shop!

Not nearly as well as it should have but considering the problems I had I'm impressed it ran as well as it did. I was running mid 10's last year but I never made enough runs to get the bugs worked out of the new LS combo. The converter was way loose...stalling about 1200rpm higher than it should have and was slipping about 15% on the top end. The fuel pump was going bad too, my AFR was going up to about 15:1 by the end of a 1/4 mile run. I have a new fuel pump now and I'm installing a th-400. The converter was originally a circle d, I wasn't impressed at all with how far off they were so I sent it to UCC to get restalled. I hope to see about a 10.2 this year, n/a on pump gas driven to the track.

I saw your car at lsx race. Didn't have time to watch your runs too busy picking up rods off the track

I got to see a lot of your runs on Wed nights...and I did see you kick the rods out of the pan as the LSX event. It was cool to see you progress through the season getting quicker and quicker. I'm looking forward to seeing how your new combo does...hopefully you won't have as many issues as I did.

Sounds like fun but I would like to see the track prepped. I think both of our cars could win some money grudge racing. I don't care for racing on a unprepped track, if you have any power at all it can get scary when you hit a slick spot after half track.
I found this little tid bit straight from Kurt on indyracingscene.com
This is designed to be a street car only event, no track prep, no score boards, track lights will be dimmed, instant on Green light (or possibly an arm drop). Will run grudge racing, time only, and possibly a new class called street elimintaor that is much like old stock elimintor but run on an index in .25 sec intervals. Ill fill you in more shortly.
Indy RPM will be sponsoring this event
We also may run CLUB CLASH During this event.
There will be a car show
Cruise in
and every ticket is a ticket to RAGE the next night.
More to come

Sounds interesting. Im happy to see more events going on out there than the years past.
I know it's nothing new, but still think the world's fastest stock bodied car is worth mentioning. Kugels 300 mph firebird. To qualify for this everything the car was equipped with stock had to work. From turn signals to a/c. Even better he just beat out Mike Cooks Thunderbird for this title in the early 90's. It was awesome seeing the two cars pushing the limits at Bonneville trying to be the first to 300 mph.
