Re: Post pics of third gen Race cars.
I'm hoping you're looking for all race cars and not just drag racecars?
Here's mine.

More pics of my car.

Here's some pics of various other third gen racecars I've 'collected' (mostly not drag).

Re: Post pics of third gen Race cars.
Here's a couple pics of mine. It's not a pure race car, but it sure can be a lot of fun. Hey GreezeMonkey, are you from the Detroit area? Some of those pics look like there from Lapeer Dragway.

Re: Post pics of third gen Race cars.
Some nice cars. keep em comming. Not limited to street/strip cars either, I'll look at the road race cars.
Re: Post pics of third gen Race cars.
what a silly place to put a racecar thread, but what the heck, I like finding racecars in the racing section.
I got an 87 camaro, small block, stock suspension, 28 10.5 tire car...this was a couple of weekends ago, the limiters broke on the bounce

and for a few stills...funny I dont have any non action shots lol

Re: Post pics of third gen Race cars.
the limiter problem went unnoticed, and ended my day a little early, but it was fun
. But now I have an excuse to lighten the trans some..so maybe i can get that 60 foot even better, does 1.25's now

Re: Post pics of third gen Race cars.
Jeff's red Sport coupe is one of the absolute nicest third gens I know of. Looks even better in person. There used to be some motor pics around that were pretty crazy.

Re: Post pics of third gen Race cars.
I have to do some adjustments to get the sway bar back on with the 9" but believe it or not it has pulled 1.60 60's without the bar...Hopefully I will be able to scrape up some money for an Anti-Roll bar so then I will be able to spray it without the fear of putting it into the wall lol...

Thanks, but the paint is rough it only looks good in pictures lol....

Fast LS1-yes, jeff's SC is the most beautiful representation of a street/strip car out there IMHO. 8.40's and drives it on cruise nights...wow. i have motor pics from ocean city cruisin.

OH, and 1QWIKZ...you should see my car up close..haha the paint looks like hell, but at night or from 20 ft away, it looks great. ;-p
