Re: how do u launch?

engage the torque converter a little by giving it some gas then hold the car with your brake. then just put it to the floor and have fun.

are u running some sort of Drag Radial or slick?

if your running anything more than 100 shot you wont hook off the line w/o slicks on N2O you can try but i doubt u will. are u running a window switch so the nos only turns on at full throttle?

i wouldnt hit the nos till 2nd gear just so u have time to react to the nos and will most likely hook.

watch ur rpms when hitting the nos it will go up FAST ecspecially if u spin.

sorry. All depends on how your valve train is set up. anything under 5500 is good on stock valve train. Anything higher and your asking for problems. i would start out with lower shot of nos and work your way up. are you running carb/FI dry/wet?

Re: how do u launch?

Try launching in first gear. I have no knowledge of nitrous so I can't help you out there.

Re: how do u launch?

Unless he's got a manual vb, it is still launching in 1st gear no matter what position the shifter is in.

Every set-up is different. Try leaving just off idle and "flashing" the converter, and try leaving on the brakes against the converter. W/o some serious suspension and/or some good tires, you will have a tough time getting it to hook on the n2o in low gear.
