Reaction Times

This is just something I've been curious about since I started hitting the drag strip. What is everyon's average Reaction Times? I just kind of wanted to get a feel for how my reaction times are compared to the rest of the world. I know, with a perfect bulb being .500, I'm running about an average of .600. Gimme some comparisons here, how fast does everyone hit the bulb?

Anyone who races regularly should be able to get low .500 lights. It just takes practice. I consider it a bad day if I get anything in the 6's. There are other days when all I can get is high .400 lights trying to nail the tree. If you don't red light a few times, you're not trying hard enough. If you stage in the same place every time and leave at the same time when you see that last yellow light come on, you should be able to get low 5 lights. If your best is only in the 6's then try rolling a little deeper into the staging lights.
