Welcome to TGO

Your link is corrupted

Since you're not a kid with a chip on his shoulder, why do you care what someone else brags about? You can't compare apples to oranges. It doesn't matter what the vehicle is, the one with the best power to weight ratio and traction will always beat a lessor one in a heads up race.

Yes. It's a manual. Mine was an auto too.

Dumping money into a 305 will leave you $500-$1500 poorer with less than 200hp.

Re: help please

donno what's up with this integra, but 99% could be beat with a stock 305 and some spray... If it's faster than that then the guy isn't talking smack, he actually has a clue.

Re: help please

there isn't a whole lot that can be done with the tbi engine management system before it'll require recalibration (ie, chip tuning) so keep that in mind.

with that understanding, anything you would normally do to a carbed (or even tpi) engine that seems to make it faster (ie, full bolt ons, exhaust, pulleys, free mods, ect) can actually cause a tbi car to slow down till it's retuned. the factory tune is setup so conservatively that any deviation from stock messes with it.

check out the tbi/diy tuning boards here for some more info. there is a lot of it, so get ready for some good solid readings over the next few evenings. if you want to beat him, you need to first be smarter than him. hope this helps give you some direction.
