Actually, I beleive that '93 6 speeds had either 2.77 (GU2) or 3.23 (GU5) gears. They also have a lower first gear in the six speed than laster T56's and no skip shift. The '93 tranny has a lower torque rating than the newer T56. Stock 13.9-14.3 is typical if well driven.

98 1LE,your are correct(the numbers I put up are from a 95)93's had the 2.73's with the 3.36 first gear,or 3.23's with the 2.97 first gear.From what I've heard,the 93's were slightly faster then the 94-95's due to speed density.

Hmm, you're right. I didn't realize 93 was different from 94+ in regards to the rearend gearing w/ the 6spds. I've heard the 93s are slightly faster rumor as well, who knows how much truth there is too it...
