Took the 87 Iroc back to the track after opening the Borla exhaust and cleaning the throttle body. Last year the car went a 14.3@93-94mph. Saturday it went 14.24@95mph with a 1.99 60ft on bfg compt t/a Zrs not drag radials.

I have TPIS stage 2 stock LS1 ported heads and stage 2 camshaft, full length headers, 3 inch y-pipe, and 3 inch borla, ported throttle body and MAF, SLP air induction, and soon to have a Star stage 3 carbon clutch. We have the crappiest track around in Ohio. I launch from idle and run Goddyear eagle f1 street tires. The car ran a best of 13.4 @105mph w/2.0 60ft completely stock. i have heard the 2001s are quite a bit faster, due to having the ZO6 intake and clutch assembly. I have heard of them running 12.9-13.1 at real good tracks and good weather. With the new clutch and hopefully gears (4.10) and I am going to go to Norwalk Drag Raceway instead of my local track i am expecting 11.80s @117-119mph. Norwalk is a NHRA sanctioned track so its all good.
