1/4 mile times for a 350HO

i am wondering what 1/4 mile times i could achieve with good traction with the following setup:
350HO crate
TCI 2000 rpm stall
3.73 gears
700r4
its in an 82 berlinetta with gfx if that helps. thanks

Mid to high 13's shouldn't be a problem. I know the GM Performance Parts ZZ3-ZZ4 3rd Gen Conversion kits ran 13.7-13.8.

Go with a little more on the stall, 2400 at lest.

stalls scare me, im not gonna break something am i? i only have (and plan to keep) a 9 bolt rear end, and eventually a 4th gen unit with disc brakes and posi. am i gonna break stuff with a stall? thanks

No you should be fine with the stall all the way up to 3600 on a stock rear. Just to let you know the 9 bolt is stronger than the 4th gen 10 bolt.

with a loose converter and 3:73 gears ,traction will be a limiting factor

hey what about that same setup but with the stock 84 3.73 10 bolt for me

where could i find a cheap rear end that is strong?

The only cheap strong rear end is a 9-bolt from a late 80's f-body. Everything else is $2000 or more.
