92 z28 first time at track
Taking the camaro to my local 1/8th mile track tonight for a bracket race event should be alot of fun. Will be the first time ive had this car down the track so im not sure what to predict. I wanted to get a run in with the stock 2.73 rear and i plan to go back on the 22 with a 3.42 gear and aluminum drums and driveshaft. Right now the car has 3in cat and catback vette servo air foil gutted air boxes bumped timing lowered lcarbs and tubular poly/rod lca and panhard rod. Ill most likely be running on my gta wheels with my nitto drs since this track is famous for having awful track prep. would be tickled to pull off a 9.5 run but i have my doubts plus its right at 100eg here today lol. ill post my results and hopefully a video or two.

Well ran a best of 9.82@70mph with a 2.1 60'. The drs hurt me
More than helped I believe though since the track was actually pretty decent from how it's been in the past. Was 97 deg out when I ran tried to figure out the da and came up with 4168. Track is right around 1200 elevation. Plan to go back on the 22 with 3.42s and see if they help. Car seemed to bog prett bad down low on the launch.

Ha initial timing at 8deg stock fuel pressure with walbro 255lph pump nitto drs at 20lb. The fastest run it hooked good but got loose a little hitting 2nd did no burnout that run the next two runs I spun enough to get dirt off tires hooked good on launch and down the track but got 2.3 60' both runs and a 9.9 and 10.0. Plan to go back in a few weeks with the better gears and aluminum driveshaft and drums.
