Transmission: th350

here's the beef. it has a 301 (i'll be honest with you, the 301 is not a very popular engine, pontiac guys hate them), th350 trans with shift kit. body is in good shape, a few chips and dings but it's in overall good shape. the interior is ok, it needs a little help, but if your interested i'll fix it.
more about the 301 (yes, it's a v8). as i said it isn't the most popular engine around, but i have had 0 problems with it and the car has been very reliable. it isn't a powerhouse, but it can peel the tire(s) if you want to. the 1-2 shift will jar your teeth
(pretty firm shift)
i get about 15 mpg in town and 22 on the highway. probably not as good as your camAro, but i'm happy with it.
if you need any more details e-mail me badcam_83@hotmail.com nitros_83@hotmail.com

sorry, im not parting out my camero, im going to build it to be a weekend drag car with a 2 speed powerglide tranny and a built 355ci later on
but i need a camero until then, but if anyone can find me a new turn key 350 for under 2k i have two 305's to sell, my stock LG4 with a streached rod on the #1 cylnder i think, stoll runs and a 86 305 out of our K5 blazer runs great, no smoke, 450 for the K5,305 and 350 for the LG4, and if its in washington i might be able to deliver

Sorry, but I'm gonna sound like a *****
IT IS SPELLED CAMARO. WITH AN "A".
Sorry, but one of my pet peaves is when people spell camAro wrong. Thaty spelling means "whimp" in spanish.
On a lighter note, I need a car too. I just got done with drivers ed. and am starting my 4 months of driving.

All I can say is AUTO TRADER!!!! They are gold mines. You can get the one that is only cars for $5000 and below and find yourself one for a decent price. I see LOTS of Camaros and Firebirds in there for good prices.
Hey, are you still looking for a Camaro? I know where there's one for what you're looking for, complete, '83 Z28 T-Tops 5.0 HO 5-sp for $2500. Just saw it Sunday, very nice, fresh 350 crate in it, charcoal gray, blue/gray Camaro interior. It's down here in Oregon, south of Portland. Let me know, I can give you the # to call if you're interested.
