Mike

Hey Mike I see you made it. I ended up going down I-5 to Medford. Made it from Bandon in 4 hrs flat, give or take 5 minutes. I hope everybody made it home okay without the third incident.

Yeah, I made it home. Had a small problem on the way back but it was just my hypoglycmeia, I had a sugar level of 53 so I had to pull over and drink a pepsi until it came up.

Me and Kelly made it ok......LONG drive when they shut down I-5 in Portland and sent us on an alternate route by way of 205. Then there was a big back up south of Tacoma.

To top what happened to my car (did anyone mention that yet??) I got not one.......but TWO fricking tickets!! One for an 85 in a 55 in Oregon, than right after I crossed into Washington I got nailed for 82 in a 60. I don't usually drive so fast but I just wanted to get home really bad.........and it cost me!! Stupid me!

Just playin with you guys. The guy that started the thread was getting on a kid that just got his permit about his mommy buying his car for him and then said the thread should be closed because there was no thirdgen content, and it had more than this thread.

What did the kid do to you to deserve the way you're treating him?

I said that I was just kidding earlier. It was a joke.

its not me... i haven't been reading the board at all the last couple of days, been keeping myself offline for the most part.

my actions are usually done in :: :: not : : ...

although I do have a good idea of who it may be...

if you want, you can ask the mod's of the forum to check the IP addresses to confirm it... I don't troll any board, and if I did, I'd do it on my own name

Made it home too. Pulled in about 8 tonight but we stopped and ate twice. No tickets, accidents or problems Traffic was terrible. Pulled out of Woodburn after getting gas and it was 10mph all the way to 205. Then there was a slow down on 205 too. Almost witnessed a couple wrecks etc. Then I got home and had to retrieve a stupid cow out of a ditch. Pain in the @#$! Looks like the car pulls in a consistent 17mpg freeway. Worst I had all weekend was 15. So not bad for no overdrive

Hate Me, most of us are in no mood for that kind of "playing around" right now. This thread does contain appropriate content since it directly relates to an official Cascade Crew function. Obviously the mods of this board don't have any problem with psycomaross' thread either yet, assuming it doesn't degenerate.

Now back to the ER stuff... I made it home fine too, but had a problem with my car just before Salem. Kept shutting down. Bart and John helped me out trying to figure it out. Acted more like spark than fuel, but turns out (I'm pretty certain) that my fuel pump cutout switch was acting up, or else the connectors lost contact. Works fine now. I really need to find a better type switch, or else figure out how to hook up a relay to both of the fuel pump circuts.

Sorry to hear about those tickets Roger. That really sucks. The I-205 bypass is usually faster than going I-5 through downtown Portland though, so it couldn't have added much if anything to your trip time.

Well IMO, if someone's new they better wait till they know the people here better before they start to make certain jokes and/or jabs at people.....

And yes, I'm back safe. Drive home seemed so much quicker than the drive there.

that's not the point. how would you feel if you were the new guy and those were some of the first replies you got? if i was that new i would think that some of you were asses, not that you are, but that's what my first impression would be. way to welcome the new guy.

see, there is a problem that lies here. it's only slightly suspicious that someone new registered, came to the cc forum, and immediately started saying this post should be locked, that one, etc.

judging by lance's post here, and from talking to jess and joe last night/this morning (ohio, remember), people aren't in very good moods right now. they do tolerate some joking around, once they get to know you a little bit. so relax a bit on the jokes.

to come right in and start making posts on how the forum should be run are uncalled for. if you have a suggestion on something, then politely post it.

my spare change.

lol, and no, it isn't me, in case anyone asks.

i just think that some people need to grow up. dewey hit it right in the jaw when referring to the bitching going on in the "cc down hard" thread.

The appropriate thing for him to do (still do) would have been to start a thread introducing himself to us if he is legit. We know absolutely nothing about him/her including his location since he left that out of his profile (though I assume from the Nightfire thread he is in Idaho somewhere). He came onto this thread acting 100% like a troll, and got treated as such.

look, drop it. Lance hit it right on the head. the guy came in without any formal introduction, and started talking as if he knew exactly how things had been going recently.

as i said before, it's only slightly suspicious.

if the guy wants to prove he isn't a troll, come step up to the plate and introduce yourself. otherwise, it's only a matter of time before someone finds out who the troll is.

oh, btw... poison pens? you forgot to mention chainsaws. i'll take mine in a stihl ms290 farm boss.

and as 87rs asked...... that does indeed seem to be the major burning question. who is it?

All right it was me. You all probably suspected that anyways. I just wanted to be treated as an equal, not as a stupid kid. Sorry if I offended anybody, but being treated like a toddler really gets on my nerves. How would you like it if everybody you talked to acted like you were stupid? Again I apologize for doing it.

Gibby your car looks awsome in that pic in your sig

ok psyco, i've been sitting here for a few thinking about how to say this.....

but you end up over at 3go starting even more junk? and then making the infamous signature that probably would have earned you an *** kicking by joe himself?

wrong move, kid.

we can tolerate jokes to an extent, but go behind our backs and poke fun at us?

i don't know about anyone else, but this is where i stand... wave bye bye.
