MAF sensor on my GTA!
so my MAF burnoff relay went out, and it cooked my MAF. NAPA wants 170$ for one. if i am spending that kind of dough is there some better after market one i should be looking at instead?

You'd probably have a lot better luck in the Electronics or TPI section, however as far as I know the stock one is basically the best to go with. Most of the other GM ones (LS1, LT1) need convertors to work and don't really give any benefits.

I have replaced several MAFs on various 3rdgens that I've owned and $170 isn't a bad price! I got lucky last time and found a working one at a junk yard. The bastard still charged me $60!

I think that Napa sells the Wells type Tony (which I preferred). Either way if you can pick it up for $170 I would do it.
When I blew my last one up there wasn't enough of it left for a core so I was looking at around $300 to replace. The one that i purchased a few years before was only $145 with no core charge so they are going up.
Good luck.
