I would prefer this went to someone local to the PNW.

Again, PM for details.

Glad you are back, too bad it is to get rid of the IROC. Wish I was closer... I'd definitely love to resurrect that car.

Though... on a look at Google Maps... let me see if I can get something together.

Re: IROC-Z needs a new home...
Hey everybody,

I have talked to many people here who were interested in the car (sorry, I could not call all of you...got a lot of inquiries).

I have made my final decision here, based on the best person who met the criteria I set up in the classified ad. This person lives, and breathes third generation f-bodies, and I know the car will have a good home.

This person is AmorgetRS. I know him from years back when Thirdgen.org was (very) young, and I know that he will take good care of it.

Thank you to all who contacted me about this. I wish I had a car for each of you.

Goodbye and good luck...

Dan Martin

Re: IROC-Z needs a new home...
I think that by giving it away to the right person I will retain some control of who it goes to and how it gets used (ok, a very small amount). In it's current condition (rough, but complete) it wouldn't go for much anyways.

It will make me feel much better knowing it has a good home than any money I may have gotten from it. I know...sentimental. *snif*

Hi Dan. I know you came before my time and had a large contribution to ThirdGen's start. Welcome back.

Also wanted to point out that you have user id # 2!

Good luck.

It was great to meet you Dan. Made it home with no issues. Car is now in the driveway, safe and sound, waiting for me to make some space. Hope you got my text.

Great to meet you too Doug. And glad to hear you made it home safely. I'm happy that went as smoothly as it did.

Have fun with your new toys. I'm sure I'll be sending you a few more care packages over the next few month as things turn up.
