new third gen owner!

Hey guys! Just picked up a 91 Rs. Bought it from a buddy of mines. Car only has 94k original miles. Has a LT1 swap with a 6 speed transmission behind it. I've had it for about 2 weeks and I'm already in love with it. I sold my honda and picked up this bad boy and don't regret it at all lol. I do miss the mpg from that car for sure . The only issue is the motor runs rich for some reason. I'm not sure what ecm its running but there's a spare one that came with the car. I was looking to get it tuned just to be safe. His brother did the swap and built the motor, he says it put down 425 whp. Any good tuners in the tacoma/olympia area? Other than that the cars solid. Needs a paint job, but I'm going to have my buddy paint it for me this winter. Oh and it has a oil cooler on it that likes to drip a little bit. Will have pics up in a bit.

Welcome to Third Gen. That's a nice looking ride. Are you parking it for the winter or is it your Daily Driver?

Re: new third gen owner!

shes my daily for about another month or so. Going to drop a down payment on a evo 9 here real soon. Im trying to keep the miles as low as possible. everyone says its clean I still have the stock headliner in mint condion. As well as the rest of the interior. after I get another car im gonna keep it in the garage bring it out on nice days only. And yeah they're 18'' chrome irocs

Re: new third gen owner!

Nice car, welcome to the forums as far as a good tuner around here I'm not sure on that one, I did enough tinkering to my l98 to get it to run and that's about it. Its in need of a dyno tune though because it is definitely rich and ive kinda given up on making it any better I just plan to give it to a tuner and say go for it
