3rd gen vs 4th gen ls1!!! Will the T-ram preavail??

Husband "Dave" - 87 IROC w/SLP T-Ram Intake, ZZ4 short block, Trick Flow Heads, and much more. G-Tech'd at 13.4 seconds at 112 mph, w/tire spin through first and second.

Wife, "Lisa" - 2000 Trans-AM LS1, 6-speed Hurst shifter, NHRA package etc. Just purchased last night with 140 miles on odometer.

Wife is challenging husband to a race of who has the best time from 0-60mhp and then 100mhp. WHO DO YOU THINK WILL WIN!!

I Lisa, am curious as to the actual outcome of this event. I am very ****y, and think I can smoke the IROC off the line with the Hurst shifter.

I David am ****y and think my power band is going to completely incenerate the LS1!

(BATTLE OF THE SEX'S)

SLP T-Ram,1"3/4 SLP headers, Cat back, Hotch-kis, MSD, Iebach etc.

What's an NRHA package? Never heard of it. 140 miles? If you have either new gears, clutch, posi, engine work, etc. you might want to break it in with city driving for 500 miles before you start to abuse it.

Sweet!! T-Ram in the Cascade crew! Cant wait to see that bad boy in person!!

BTW, All bets go to IROC. If it runs a 13.4 on the G-Tech is should beat the LS1.

Nope, they sold it as an aftermarket modification, but the molds where destroyed several years ago in a fire that destroyed a lot of SLPs molds. They never found it profitable to remake the molds...

Thank you for the support guy's, for my egos sake I hope your right! After driving the T/A all weekend I have to say what a car! Were going to put about 1500 miles on the odometer before taking the cars to SIR.

I'll keep you posted.

The NHRA package consists of the following:

Torsen diff
Hurst shifter
Power steering cooler
Im not 100 percent sure that these are the only items included in the package, but they are the only performance options on our car.

Well in that case I think the IROC will pull the LS1 by a length or less.
