Well at least we all know wet roads taking corners a little to fast can equal disaster, and some of us learn the hard way. Oh well all that needs to be replaces is the rims. now can anybody help me locate or point me in a direction of finding good used 87 Iroc rim or 92z28.locating new was easy, but don't really wanna spend that much

Yeah man, take those corners easy! I wrecked my 87 SC like that. Performance handling is just a longer rope to hang yourself with. I'd check the buy&sell and give a few wreckers a call. Other than that, aftermarket or dealership is going to be $$$.

Check the junkyards. I saw a lot of Camaro rims when I was looking for a Formula wheel. They probably have what you're looking for.

 

You looking for rims for you 'Bird? That sucks dude, think Qwktrip has some stock rims from his 'Bird he may be looking at unloading...

I just bought a pair of seats from a guy that is getting rid of some GTA parts.

He's got a set of GTA wheels for 400 bucks I think... I can give you his phone number if you want. I think that is the price, but you'd have to talk to him to be sure.

I don't know if they're the same but i have 4 z28 rims (5-spoke kind) from an 82 ... No center caps though. $125/set of 4

 

thanks for the replies everyone but the dumbass who is looking for the rims isn't me. Its a guy at work who did it. and the guy has an 87 iroc and doesn't want Bird rims on it, so I'll let him know about the junkyards, though I doubt he has the time since the hours we work.

But speaking of having stock rims QwkTrip, can you post some pics and what you want for them cause mine are in bad shape

no one here has extra set/no where he can get a set of 87 or similar IROC wheels or a set of 92 z28 wheels?
